ServiceNow Summit 2024: IT Trends and Innovations with Marcelo Theóphilo

On August 28th, the ServiceNow Summit 2024 in São Paulo, one of the main events of its kind in the world. The meeting was a landmark, bringing together more than 2,000 participants and highlighting the main trends and innovations in IT, as well as the company's role as a leader in its segment and its ability to transform the business landscape.

4MATT was present, reinforcing its strong and successful partnership with ServiceNow. Our team of experts and sales team actively participated in the event, sharing industry best practices and supporting the IT market in its quest to achieve its strategic goals. 

We invited our CEO, Marcelo Theóphilo, to provide an overview of the event, discuss his expectations for the technology market in 2025, analyze the main trends in artificial intelligence applied to good corporate practices, and share the main lessons learned and his impressions about the meeting. 4MATT: “Marcelo, what were the main highlights and learnings that you and the 4MATT team took away from the ServiceNow Summit 2024?” 

MT: ” The ServiceNow Summit was a showcase of innovation. One of the main highlights was the Generative Artificial Intelligence, which showed us the transformative potential of integrating this technology into the ServiceNow platform. The ability to automate processes more intelligently, generate deep insights, and at the same time improve the user experience, opened a new perspective on how we can reinvent the enterprise landscape.
Another central theme was the Hyper-Automated Automation. The discussion focused on how the combination of various automation technologies — such as RPA, machine learning and AI — can create more agile and efficient processes, meeting the growing demands of an increasingly digital and dynamic world. 

We cannot forget the importance of Security and Governance, especially in the context of complex and distributed environments. The event highlighted the critical need to ensure compliance and security, with a special focus on identity-based solutions and access control. 

Finally, the biggest lesson we learned from this meeting was the continuous search for Innovation in Services. Technology challenges us to find new ways of delivering IT services, always focusing on agility, autonomy and proactivity.. This constant commitment to innovation is what drives us to explore new frontiers and offer solutions that really make a difference.”  

4MATT: “And how would you assess the overall impact of the ServiceNow Summit 2024 for the IT industry?” 

MT: ” The ServiceNow Summit 2024, as in previous editions, certainly reaffirmed the trend of platform unification and process automation within the IT industry. By integrating several functionalities in a single environment, the SN platform stands out as a powerful tool, allowing companies to optimize their operations efficiently, reduce operating costs and accelerate the pace of their digital transformation. 

4MATT: “What innovative things does the partnership between ServiceNow and 4Matt promise to bring in the coming year? Can you give us an insight into the key initiatives or projects that are planned for 2025? 

MT: In addition to the creation of a ServiceNow Academy, dedicated to training and developing highly qualified specialists, the partnership between ServiceNow and 4Matt tends to expand into strategic areas. 

At the Service Management, the focus will be on providing ongoing support to customers, ensuring that the implemented solutions operate in an optimized and efficient manner. This ensures not only maintenance, but the constant evolution of operations. 

Already in the area of Innovation in Services, the partnership seeks to explore new ways of delivering IT services, such as the use of virtual assistants and chatbots, bringing more agility and efficiency to interactions and processes.  

4MATT: “Which innovations or trends discussed at the Summit do you consider most promising for the future of technology?” 

MT: “The innovations discussed in the ServiceNow Summit opened up a world of possibilities for the future of IT, and the most promising ones fill us with enthusiasm! Generative Artificial Intelligence was one of the big highlights, with incredible applications ranging from code generation to content creation, promising to radically transform the way we interact with technology. 

Another highlight was the impact of the Low-code/No-code, which is democratizing software development. This innovation has the potential to accelerate digital transformation by enabling more people, without advanced technical knowledge, to create solutions that meet their needs in an agile and efficient way. 

And, of course, we couldn't fail to mention the revolution brought about by Internet of Things (IoT). The ability to connect devices, collect data and automate processes is a true game changer, providing valuable insights and creating an environment where innovation has no limits. 

The future of IT has never been more inspiring, and these technologies are just beginning to show what they are capable of.!”
