4MATT and UFJF establish partnership in the elective course Strategic Technology Management.

4MATT was invited by FACC/UFJF to co-lead the elective course Strategic Technology Management, combining ServiceNow and asset management in the training of managers.

4MATT — a ServiceNow Elite Partner in Brazil — was invited by the Faculty of Administration and Accounting Sciences of UFJF (FACC/UFJF) to co-create and teach the practical modules of the elective course. Strategic Technology Management (CAD 138), led by Professor Cristina Dusi. The partnership brings ServiceNow and IT asset management to the training of future managers, with classes starting in August 2026.

From a lecture at FACC Week XVII to a course in the curriculum.

The partnership originated during FACC Week XVII, held in October 2025, when 4MATT specialists Antônio Cançado, Bruno Ferreira, and João Freitas presented the lecture "Digital Transformation and the Impacts of Technology on Management." The response was positive among the faculty, particularly Professor and Director of FACC, Cristina Sayuri, and resulted in an invitation for 4MATT to participate directly in the course curriculum.

In the following months, the team structured the course material and methodology, which officially became part of the FACC/UFJF curriculum, connecting asset management and ServiceNow to the faculty's management courses.

What does the Strategic Technology Management elective cover?

This course equips students to transform technology into strategic decisions, more efficient processes, and better results. The content covers digital transformation, workflow automation, governance and risk management, the ServiceNow platform, hardware and software asset management, and decision-making based on indicators and dashboards.

The course is highly practical and requires no programming knowledge. Throughout the course, students work on a business case inspired by real-world problems and conclude with a business case presentation to a panel simulating an executive board.
